An Ametrine is a gemstone that is a natural combination of Amethyst and Citrine. These two separate gemstones grow together to form a gorgeous duo of colors.
The Natural Ametrine comes from a mine in Bolivia called Anahí Mine, which is the only notable source for the stone. "Although this gemstone deposit has been known to natives for several hundred years, it is only since the 1980's that it has been worked on a commercial level" (minerals.net).
